Bob's donuts is a SF classic! They have a variety of flavors ranging from Tiger Tail, to blueberry on display. However they also have the classics like maple syrup and glaze. The donuts are affordable (3.50 each) and are really good! Staff are patient and nice as well!

I rarely eat sweet stuff. Bob's Donuts is my exception. My favorite is their classic glazed donut. It is fluffy, crispy sugar crust, moist on the inside without being under cooked and melts as soon as I chew into it. It is never dry. Excellent service.

I somehow was able to keep my resolution in 2024 and avoid Bob's but already broke it twice this year...for very good reason! Some elderly relatives who no longer live in the City requested Bob' when I asked if I could bring them anything! My uncle pushed aside his dinner tay at a rehab center and downed a Tiger tail and two malasadas!

Ordered delivery for 19 donuts for my daughter's boyfriend's 19th birthday. He loves Bob's and the cereal specialty donuts, which wasn't on the delivery menu. I called this store and the nice lady knew exactly what to do and had me order jelly donuts to swap for the specialty donuts. Voila! Magic happens when you call to communicate! (Wasn't there in person to describe ambiance. )

We love bobs but have always gone to the other location. We were in the city yesterday closer to this one and decided to try it out! The service was great and the guy at the counter was friendly and chill. The donuts were awesome. I got my usual maple cronut with Cinnamon Toast Crunch which is 5/5 and tried a new one (to me), the raspberry cream. It was good but I wasn't getting the punch of raspberry I was hoping for. It was deff lacking in the flavor department. My boyfriend got a fruit loops one which was delicious, and our friend got the ham and cheese croissant which he loved! Said it tasted like Gruyère or some kind of Swiss but softer. Their coffee was strong with great flavor and kept us going for the rest of the day showing our friend who was visiting around the city. It was pretty clean, and the stools they have are really comfy with a nice street view from the counter you sit at. All in all a great experience!

Came here this weekend to pick up some donuts. Love this place as they never skimp on the filling.. See Pic. Other donut shops usually skimp but never this place. I love their malasadas here too.. Better than some places in Hawaii.

My visit to Bob's Donuts was a mixed bag. Like many, my first visit to Bob's Donut was to the Polk Street location. This was my first time stopping by this location. When I stopped by in the afternoon at 3:00 p.m. on a rainy Saturday afternoon, the shop was empty except for a couple sharing a donut by the window. Like others have noted, you really get the sense that this place is a buy quickly and go spot. There's no small talk, no recommendations, just silence. I picked up a bacon cronut and an apple fritter. Each donut was around $4.00. As soon as I got back to my car, I took a bite out of each: there were excellent. Due to how large the donuts were, I ended up only eating about a quarter of each. When I got home, I immediately transferred each donut into their own tupperware container for tomorrow's breakfast. The next day, I was quite disappointed in how the cronut held up: it was a greasy collapsed mess. The apple fritter held up better. Definitely wouldn't recommend keeping these donuts overnight. They are best enjoyed the same day.
